STRAWBERRY FANTA CAKE



Yesterday I had a visit from a colleague. For coffee there was this delicious cake. With the midsummer temperatures, this strawberry cake was just right. In the garden under the parasol, we could so enjoy the beautiful afternoon.


Ingredients

125 g sugar

2 bags of vanilla sugar

2 eggs

70 ml oil

140 g flour

1/2 bag baking powder, sifted

80 ml Fanta


Cream sugar, vanilla sugar and eggs. Add oil, flour and baking powder and finally stir in Fanta.

Grease a small baking pan ( 30 x22 cm) or a springform pan ( 26 cm) and line with baking paper. Pour the dough into the pan.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.

After cooling, remove the baking paper and put the base back into the pan.


Strawberry Fanta Cake Ingredients for the topping

400 g strawberries

300 g cream

300 g sour cream

2 sachets of whipped cream

2 sachets vanilla sugar

3 tablespoons brown sugar


 


Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks, cut them into pieces and spread them on the base.

Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar and the cream firming until stiff and stir in the sour cream. Spread the mixture on the strawberries and sprinkle with the sugar.
