Smothered Chicken

 


Ingredients

1 chicken in pieces

ground chili pepper

3 cloves of crushed garlic

juice of 1 lemon

flour

olive oil

1 liter of beef broth

15 cl of Port

400 g of fried potatoes

400 g of cooked green beans

1 sprig of chopped fresh parsley

salt and pepper


PREPARATION

Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, chili, crushed garlic and lemon juice. Let marinate for 2 hours.

2Drain the chicken, toss in flour and fry in hot olive oil. Drizzle with port and broth. Cover and cook until the chicken is tender.

To finish

Arrange the chicken pieces on the plates, drizzle with a little sauce.
